Coleonema pulchellum / Confetti Bush / Small Shrub / Seeds

The Confetti Bush is a Fynbos plant from the Cape Floral Kingdom.  It is a good garden plant with fine green leaves and red or pink flowers in late spring to summer. Plants are well-branched and the leaves are sweet scented when crushed.  They grow to a height of 1 1.5m and are good in dry and coastal gardens and containers. Plants can be trimmed into a low hedge. The foliage is good in flower arrangements, in pot pouri and as an insect repellent when rubbed to release the aroma.

The Confetti Bush grows best full sun and neutral to acidic well-drained soil.  They are best grown in warmer UK or city/coastal gardens and Mediterranean gardens with minimal frost, tolerating conditions to about -5C.  Plants attract lots of pollinators when in flower.

Pack of 15 seeds.  Sow in spring or autumn.  Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.
