Sow anytime on the surface of a moist tray of seed compost.  Keep at 18 20C and germination takes 10 14 days. Transplant seedlings into pots when big enough to handle, and out into the garden after the last frost. Seedlings sown in summer/autumn should be protected in the first winter in a greenhouse or cold frame, before planting out in spring.
