Flowers June/July to August
Height 40 - 60cm
Spread 20 - 30cm
Conditions  Full sun and rich well-drained soil
Sow

Sow in late autumn to early spring for flowering the next summer.  Sow seeds in a tray of moist seed compost and lightly cover with compost.  Keep at 20-25°C and germination takes 3-4 weeks.  Transplant seedlings into pots when they are big enough to handle and out into the garden after the last frost.  Provide seedlings with warmth and light and protect from frost.

Grow Trim back lightly after flowering.  Remove plants in autumn or move them into a greenhouse or conservatory as they will live for several years without frost.
