Ursinia is a wonderful Namaqualand daisy with delicate lacy foliage and bright yellow to orange flowers from June/July to September. They look good grouped in borders, alongside paths and in containers.  Plants grow to a height of 20-40cm.  Grow in groups or mix with other daisies such as Felicia, Gazania and Dimophotheca.

Ursinia grows best in full sun and well-drained soil.

Sow Sow in autumn or spring in a tray of seed compost.  Cover lightly with compost and keep at 15-18C.  Seeds germinate in 1-3 weeks.  Transplant seedlings to pots when big enough to handle and then out into the garden after the last frost.   Plant close together in groups in a sunny well drained position.
Grow Water plants regularly until flowering.  Plants then need little attention.  They die back after flowering in the autumn when they should be removed.
