Knautia macedonica 'Melton Pastels' / Macedonian Scabious / Seeds

A lovely densely-flowering plant with strong stalks of cherry, salmon and almost-blue pin cushion flowers.  This is a great border plant, growing up to 120 cm in height, and also good for cut flowers.

Knautia flowers from May to July and right on to the last frost if deadheaded.  Plants prefer
a sunny position in well drained soil.

Pack of 30 seeds.  Sow from late winter to early summer.  Easy to grow.  Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.  Plants flower in the first year from early sowings.

Grow Early sowings may flower in the first year.  Deadhead to encourage more flowers.  Remove old flower stems in the autumn.    Basal cuttings take well in spring to early summer.
