Lychnis coronaria ‘Oculata’ / Angel's Blush Rose Campion / Seeds

A great border plant, with silvery leaves and lovely cup-shaped flowers.  This is a white flowered variety of Rose Campion, each flower having a decorative pink eye.  These plants are good for late season flowering from July to September.  They grow to a height of 70cm.

Lychnis plants prefer full sun or part shade and well-drained soil. They tolerate dry sandy soils and coastal sites.

These are short lived perennials that re-seed freely once established.

Pack of approx 50 seeds.  Sow in summer to early autumn.  Plants flower in the season after sowing.  Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.

Sow Sow in spring to autumn.  Sow in a tray of moist seed compost, with a light covering of compost.   Keep at 20-24°C and germination takes 1-2 weeks. Transplant seedlings into pots when they are big enough to handle, and out into the garden during frost free conditions.  Protect young plants from slugs.
