A compact Sage with masses of purple-violet flower spikes in June to September. Plants have a good compact and sturdy habit, growing to a height of about 60cm, and look good in borders and containers. Sage attracts lots of bees and butterflies into the garden.
Sage grows best in a sunny place in humus-rich well-drained soil. Plants are drought tolerant once established.
