Dark Mullein is a tall plant with rich yellow and purple-centred flowers from May/June to September. Plants grow a hairy rosette of leaves and then a flower spike 60-120cm tall. These are great plants for wilder parts of your garden and for naturalistic borders. Mullein helps wildlife to survive in the garden by providing nectar, seeds and shelter.
Dark Mullein grows best in part shaded to sunny situations in well drained neutral to alkaline soils. Plants self-seed in the right conditions.
Pack of approx 2000 seeds. Sow indoors in spring to autumn or sow directly into cultivated soil in autumn. Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet
